New for summer 2010, is the the DreamStation-MX8 Core i7 Workstation for Adobe CS5 and Matrox MXO The DreamStation-MX8 for Adobe CS5/Matrox MXO is a real-time custom built HD Video editing workstation designed for the newly released Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, Adobe Production Premium CS5, and Adobe Master Collection CS5. There is full support for the new Mercury Playback Engine and complete support for the Matrox MX02 Series of HD Input Output options.
This system is built on the latest Intel x58 Chipset, with support for the new Intel Core i7 CPUs, including the new 6 Core Extreme CPU. The system also utilizes a triple channel DDR3 RAM configuration. This is important for HD video editing for an Adobe Premiere Pro workstation because it offers far more bandwidth at a lower cost, than a Dual Channel configuration. You'll find 'front mounted' 1394a, (8) USB 2.0 ports, (6) USB 3.0 Ports (backwards compatible to USB 2.0) and eSATA.
