The DreamStation-MC24 for AVID Media Composer 5 is a real-time custom built HD Video editing workstation designed for the new AVID Media Composer 5, Mojo SDI, Mojo DX hardware I/O options, and the Matrox MX0 Series of HD Input Output options.

This system is built on the latest Intel 5520 Chipset, with support for the new Intel 32nm XEON Hexa Core (6 core per processor) CPUs. The system also utilizes a Dual triple channel DDR3 RAM configuration. Each CPU has it's own triple channel interface. This is important for HD video editing for an AVID Media Composer 5 workstation. You'll find 'front mounted' 1394a, (12) USB 2.0 ports, including 4 front mounted ports. This powerful workstation will shred through 24 simultaneous threads (with hyper-threading enabled).
