The DreamStation-MC8 for AVID Media Composer 5 is a real-time custom built HD Video editing workstation designed and qualified for the new AVID Media Composer 5, Mojo SDI, Mojo DX hardware I/O options, and the Matrox MX02 Series of HD Input Output options.

This system is built on the latest Intel x58 Chipset, with support for the new Intel Core i7 CPUs, including the new 6 Core Extreme CPU. The system also utilizes a triple channel DDR3 RAM configuration. This is important for HD video editing for an qualified AVID Media Composer 5 workstation because it offers far more bandwidth at a lower cost, than a Dual Channel configuration. You'll find 'front mounted' 1394a, (8) USB 2.0 ports, (6) USB 3.0 Ports (backwards compatible to USB 2.0) and eSATA.
