The Adobe Premiere Pro workstation includes front connectivity for easy access to USB ports and a card reader. It features two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 5Gbit/s Type C port, one USB 3.2 10Gbit/s Type C port, and an SDXC/MicroSD card reader. Additionally, there are two USB 2.0 ports for peripherals like keyboards.

Case

ThIs Adobe Premiere Pro system features a server-quality case with 4 front removable SATA based hard drives or SSDs for easy upgrades and replacements. It maximizes airflow, operates silently. Chipset

This Adobe workstation is based on the Intel 14th Gen Z790 chipset, which acts as the communication hub for the CPU, PCIe slots, audio devices, storage options, and more.

The Z790 chipset boasts standard features including abundant USB 3.0/3.1 ports, USB-C Gen 2, m.2 storage options, optional Thunderbolt 4, and support for Intel QuickSync video. The Intel 770HD GPU is the basic option, delivering reliable performance and providing the flexibility to add a discrete GPU in the future. This system is designed and assembled to easily accommodate the installation of an Nvidia GPU when necessary.

CPU

Our Adobe Premiere 2023 workstation is powered by Intel's latest 14th Gen Core series. Our base CPU, the 14700K, features 8 'P' cores and 12 'E' cores, delivering at least a 30% improvement over the 13th Gen for multi-core applications like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and the whole Adobe suite.

Upgrade to the 13900K CPU for even higher performance with 8 'P' cores and 16 'E' cores

System RAM

We offer a 32GB, 64GB, and a 128GB option for this Adobe CC Premiere Pro workstation using the new high performance DDR5 RAM. When you start to mix different formats and codecs, Premiere Pro can eat up a lot of RAM. 32GB is good for HD and 4K. Select 64 GB to boost the RAM available to Premiere Pro and After Effects allowing more formats to be on the same timeline and faster timeline playback. For ultimate performance, select the 128GB option.

Keyboard Type

In this section, you can make your keyboard and mouse choice. We include a wired Logitech keyboard and mouse from Logitech for FREE with every system.

System Drive

Your Adobe system comes standard with a m.2 nVME PCI-e based SSD for a System drive for your 'C: drive'. The System Drive contains the Windows OS and your program files. You can choose up to a 2TB nVME drive for your C: drive.

Spare/Render/Cache Drive

The Spare/Render/Cache extra volume can help with exports and cache storage which speeds up your workflow. Using separate storage drive for exports will decrease your encoding times, and using that same drive as a 'cache' volume has a significant benefit for Premiere Pro, AE, including timeline performance.

You can also select a large capacity 7200RPM hard drive, which also makes a great cache and allows for expanded options for backups, etc.

Primary Bay Option

For this system, we include a Blu-ray recorder that supports BD-RE at 16x, DVD's at 24X and CD's at 48X. Alternatively, you can choose a standard DVD Recorder that also burns CD's. The Blu-ray burner will handle both 25GB and 50GB disks. Cyberlink DVD Utilities are included with each drive.

Secondary Bay Option

In this section, you can choose your option for the secondary full size bay. You can select a Blu-ray or DVD recorder with the same options as the primary optical drive or you can add a USB 3.0 (4) port hub for maximum flexibility on the front of the case.

Display Adapter/GPU

In this section you can pick your recommended GPU for Adobe Premiere and After Effects. The GPU is the part of your system that connects and plays many other important roles in your workstation. Premiere and After Effects use the GPU to accelerate filters, effects, color correction, and more for real time feedback in the timeline. The GPU in Premiere is also used in exporting especially if you are scaling from 4K to HD for example.

Intel UHD 770

This Adobe workstation for Premiere comes with a powerful embedded GPU that uses shared system memory. The Intel UHD 770 is supported for GPU acceleration via OpenCL (similar to CUDA) in Premiere. This a great solution for HD production and 4K. When your needs demand it, you can easily add a discreet GPU down the road.

RTX GEFORCE

We offer the NVIDIA RTX 3060 as our first upgrade add in card The RTX 3060 has 12GB of GDDR6 RAM and 3584 CUDA Cores making it the ideal choice for HD, and 4K work.

RTX QUADRO

You can also choose a RTX Quadro card for this system. All of the Quadro cards support 30 bit color (about a billion colors) using the DisplayPort connections. 30 bit color is important for accurate color correction using programs like Adobe After Effects CC, Lumetri Deep Color Engine in CC, and Black Magic's DaVinci Resolve when using a 30 bit monitor** and applications which support OpenGL that require a Quadro card (like AVID Media Composer). Quadro cards also offer ECC memory*, which translates into fewer render errors and crashes are less likely.

NVIDIA Quadro cards are well known for their stability and support for all professional video applications. If you plan on using Media Composer or Cinema 4D, or other 3D programs then the Quadro series is the best choice. Quadro cards also allow unlimited live streams when using vMix.

Internal Media Volume

In this section, you can choose your Internal Media Volume drive array. Please note that configurations that have 8 drives require the 8 bay case.

The Media Volume (volume) is where you will store your video, audio, stills, and other media for online editing. Although the Media RAID shows up as one drive letter, it is actually made up of two or more spinning hard drives or Solid State Drives.

We offer 2 types of RAID configurations. We use a multi drive RAID configuration for your media storage because one single hard drive is not fast enough to edit the formats used today in most cases. We use a proprietary 'caching' algorithm combined with our RAID configurations to enhance the multi stream performance. The end result is that you don't have to wait for your storage system to catch up to your creativity.

Media RAID-0: for Performance

In a RAID-0, we use 2 (or more) hard drives and combine them together so they appear as one drive letter (volume) in Windows. This is required for SD/HD/4K editing because a single hard drive is not fast enough. If you take the steps to make sure your important video and audio assets are backed up, then the standard (2) drive RAID-0 is perfectly fine. Hard drives are mechanical, and they can fail. Our systems have numerous external ports for easy connection to USB 3.0, optional Thunderbolt drive arrays. There are many options to keep your media online and available.

Media RAID-10: for Performance and Content Protection

In a RAID-10, we essentially mirror a RAID-0. This is all done in the background with no intervention from you. The UPSIDE to this solution is fast speed with data redundancy. If a hard drive fails in the RAID, all of your projects and media are safe. With our RAID-10 configuration, if a drive fails the system continues to operate without a hiccup, and there is no need to rebuild a RAID-10 array to access your projects and media stored on it. Once you replace the failed drive, the array will be protected again. The DOWNSIDE to this solution is that it is more expensive, and doubles the number of hard drives required to implement it.

Our DreamStation workstations fully support Adobe Creative Cloud including the newest Adobe CC 2022 release. With an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, you can pick and choose the applications you want. Your applications run locally on your system and you have the bonus of some cloud storage features.

We will install, configure, and optimize your system using our Adobe credentials. When you receive your system, all you need to do is to log in to your own Adobe account to use of all of the apps you purchased from Adobe.

Capture/4K Monitoriing

In this section, you can choose an I/O device for your Adobe workstation.

For an internal solution, the Black Magic Design Intensity Pro 4K is an internal card that offers HDMI UHD/HD/SD Capture, as well as SD analog capture from S-Video, Component, or Composite sources. You also get outputs of all of these connections allowing you to monitor your audio in video in full HD 1080p or UHD. The Black Magic Design Decklink Studio 4K offers an internal card with every connection a pros could ever use. You get HD/4K/UHD/SD SDI 3G, AES audio and multiple SD analog connections including 4 channels of audio.

For an external solution we, we offer two choices. The first choice is the Black Magic Design UltraStudio 4K. This box is housed in a small 1U rack-mountable chassis and offers a wide variety of SDI and analog inputs/outputs. The Black Magic Design UltraStudio 4K requires the Thunderbolt card found in the connectivity category further down the page. The next choice is the Black Magic Design UltraStudio 4K Extreme. This extremely versatile box is housed in a 4U rack-mountable chassis and offers the most connectivity of any product in it's class. Connection to your DreamStation is accomplished with Thunderbolt as well.

Keep in mind that all of our Graphics/GPU cards include the ability to have at least 3 monitors and most support 4 monitors. Adobe CC 2021 allows you to use a computer monitor as a full screen preview display. The extra displays do take away from the GPU power available for effects processing making the BlackMagic hardware a worthwhile investment.

Power Protection

Power Protection is often overlooked, but it is important to keep your system running without interruption as well as protecting your hardware AND your data. We offer a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), or sometimes called a 'Battery Backup' unit with the specs needed to keep your system safe in the event of a power outage. The UPS also helps to smooth out your incoming power making your system more stable.

Our UPS solution will safely shut down your DreamStation gracefully in the event of a power failure. The system will enter into a hibernate mode and power off after the current state is saved. When you restart, you can make sure you saved any changes and then reboot the system.

Please note that if you intend to use a UPS that you may already own: The UPS must have a minimum AVR rating of 1500VA/900W or damage to the system may occur. Let us know the model number and we can tell you if it is suitable for your system.
